Jack went on to play baseball at Auburn University and played 8 years of professional baseball 7 of which was with the Boston Red Sox. Jack began volunteering for FCA in 1974 and continued volunteering until 1999 when he became Area Director for North Central Alabama. He will be beginning his 20th year on staff with FCA in August 2018. Jack is married to Amy Baker, they have 3 children- Jeff, Jenny, and Sarah and 9 grandchildren.

“I love FCA because I see the way God can use athletes, coaches, and sports to connect with people and through that connection and platform, lives are changed eternally. I have seen coaches and athletes both alter the negative direction their lives were going and become a blessing to their families and even the community. It is a wonderful way to serve and be served. I am blessed by having been involved through most of my life!”
